About Ripe pu-erh

Ripe Pu-erh (shou Pu-erh) is Yunnan tea transformed through controlled microbial fermentation, creating a darker liquor and an approachable profile that is often smoother and less astringent than young raw Pu-erh. This collection brings together TAYUNE ripe teas chosen for clear product information, dependable brewing performance, and flavour that remains balanced across repeated infusions.
Expect profiles that may move through aged wood, dried fruit, jujube, cacao, earth, or a clean chenxiang character. Every product page states the available year, origin, format, net weight, and tasting notes so you can compare cakes without relying on packaging alone. For a gentle start, use about 5–7 g per 100 ml, rinse briefly, then brew with near-boiling water in short infusions and adjust to taste.
New to Pu-erh? Begin with Tasting Sets to compare labelled raw and ripe portions before choosing a full cake. You can also read our Pu-erh tea guide or compare this collection with Raw Pu-erh.
