01 / Product story
Pressed in 2015 from ancient-tree material harvested in 2012 in Bulang Mountain, Yunnan, Chenxiang is a ripe pu-erh with a dense, silky body and a calm, mature profile.
Made from Yunnan large-leaf tea, Chenxiang uses 2012 Bulang Mountain material that was pressed in 2015. Storage has allowed the tea to settle into a rounded and composed expression.
The liquor is full and smooth, with a dense, silky texture and a clean aged aroma. Soft glutinous sweetness runs through the cup, followed by a warm finish without an overly sharp fermentation character.
Choose a 20 g sample for tasting or a complete 357 g cake for regular drinking and storage. Brew with water at 95–100°C. For traditional brewing, begin with a short rinse and 10–15 second infusions, then adjust according to taste.
