Discover Pu-erh tea with a beginner-friendly sampler featuring both raw and ripe Pu-erh. Taste different Yunnan teas before choosing a full cake.

New to Pu-erh? Start with Samples.
Choosing your first Pu-erh tea can be difficult.
There are many origins, years and flavor profiles to explore — and buying a full tea cake before tasting it may feel like too much of a commitment.
That is why a Pu-erh tea sampler is one of the easiest ways to begin.
Instead of starting with one full cake, you can taste several different Pu-erh teas first, discover the flavors you enjoy, and then decide what you would like to explore next.

Taste Both Raw & Ripe Pu-erh
Our Grand Yunnan Pu-erh Discovery Set includes both raw Pu-erh and ripe Pu-erh, giving you a simple introduction to two important styles of Yunnan Pu-erh tea.

How to Brew Your Samples
A simple Gongfu-style brewing method works perfectly.
Tea: 5–7 g
Water: 95–100°C
Teaware: Gaiwan or small teapot
First infusions: Around 8–15 seconds
Start with a quick rinse, then brew the tea several times while gradually increasing the steeping time.
One of the pleasures of Pu-erh is discovering how the flavor changes from one infusion to the next.
