Yunnan Handmade White Tea

Sourced from the core growing area of Jinggu’s renowned Yangta white tea region, this Moonlight White Tea is carefully made from spring-picked leaves of large-leaf white tea trees, using a plucking standard of one bud with one or two leaves.

Following traditional white tea craftsmanship, the fresh leaves are gently withered indoors with partial natural sun exposure, without rolling or frying. This minimal processing preserves the tea’s natural character and creates excellent potential for further aging.

Moonlight White, also known as Moonlight Tea or Moonlight Beauty, is famous for its distinctive appearance. Each leaf shows a striking contrast—silvery white on one side and dark on the other, covered with fine white down. This elegant black-and-white appearance is said to resemble tea leaves illuminated by moonlight, which inspired its poetic name.

Made from mature tea trees in the Yangta area, this tea offers a smooth, mellow and naturally sweet liquor, with a rich mouthfeel, lingering sweetness, and a long-lasting aroma. With proper storage, its fragrance and flavor can continue to develop over time, making it enjoyable both for immediate drinking and long-term aging.
