This 2016 Wukong Raw Pu-erh is made from ancient tree spring tea leaves from Lao Man’e, Bulang Mountain, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan. Lao Man’e is well known for its bold and powerful pu-erh character, but this tea is made from the “Tiancha” sweet-profile material, offering a smoother and more approachable drinking experience compared with the more intensely bitter Lao Man’e bitter-tea style.

After years of natural dry storage, the tea has developed a clean, steady character with a calm honey-like aroma, a full and smooth tea soup, and a balanced energy. The bitterness is light and transforms quickly, followed by a long-lasting sweet aftertaste and gentle returning sweetness.
